AFSA has been looking at how people interact with the PPSR website so that we can better understand the needs of our users.
Recent research has given us insight into who our users are. Most users are new users, and many only use the site once. A growing share of our users are accessing the site on their mobiles or tablets, and half come to the site through a search engine.
Around half of all sessions start on the home page, so we need to make sure the menu design and layout is intuitive. In June, we released a navigational activity for external users which showed us how people click through the menu structure to find information. Understanding our users is the first step to making sure the website layout and content is fit for purpose. Moving forward, we will continue to seek user feedback to help shape and inform improvements.
Do you have suggestions for how we could improve the PPSR website ppsr.gov.au?
